Information and Communication Technology is taught to all pupils in Key Stages 3,4 and post 16.

ICT is taught in 3 fully equipped computer rooms. Students are encouraged to further develop their skills in their own time when the computer rooms are available.

The aim of the department is to encourage the students to become independent users of ICT enabling them to use the skills learned to assist them in their other subjects. We enable students to be confident and competent users of a range of software applications

Across the curriculum, teachers are using ICT to enhance teaching and learning. Use of the internet in lessons, Maths Alive, Board works and Sam Learning are just a few examples.  We use Information & Communication Technologies that come our way in order to help our students to gain the success.

Interesting, exciting, challenging, motivating and stimulating are just some of the words that can describe ICT.
