The music department consists of 2 full time music teachers:

Mr P. Charalambous        Head of Music
Ms B. Sayers

And 4 peripatetic teachers:

Mr G. Bird - Drums
Ms H. Wilson - Woodwind
Mr P. Wall - Guitar
Ms S. Lavender - Voic

The premises consist of the following rooms:

M1: This is the main teaching classroom where there is access to an interactive whiteboard; keyboards; Glockenspiels and other percussion instruments.

M2: This is the computer room where students have access to Sibelius. This is a software programme which enables students to compose music using the computer.

M3: This is the second teaching room and is mainly used for listening and composing activities.

: This room has a permanent drum kit where the peripatetic lessons take place and where students can access the drums in order to practice.

THE SINGING ROOM: This room is used by the peripatetic teacher for teaching and is also used as a practice room.

PRACTICE ROOMS: There are two smaller practice rooms where students can further develop their playing skills.

WALK IN STORAGE ROOM: This room is used to store instruments and music books.

THE OFFICE: The office can be used by all members of the music department.
